Pet Tips & Tales

 

Some birds will just refuse to eat pellets, Cockatiels being the most stubborn. If you want to convert, the process can take anywhere from two weeks to two years, so be patient. Begin by mixing in some pellets with the bird seed and gradually, decreasing the amount of bird seed and increasing the pellets.  Remember, although pellets can be a good staple in your birds diet you should continue to feed a variety of healthy bird foods including seeds, whole grains, legumes, fruits & vegetables.
